Actually it’s called "Englishman’s Nut-Brown Ale" and it’s not as dark as Guinness. I did brew my own version of MrBeer’s take on Guinness, called
"St. Patrick’s Irish Stout" but I modified it for higher alcohol content (7%abv) & reduced the bitterness. The brew came close to Spaten Dark(malty).
Anyway, my point is brewing your own is easy but it involves a lot of patience. It takes about 6-12 weeks to brew/carbonate/lager, before you can drink it. Once it’s ready, the flavor and how it hits your nose(fresh beer aroma) is sensational and undescribable.
I’m sorry for the off topic, but I’m quite passionate about beer and all this beer/watch talk got me going. I’ll stop now.
